What to know before choosing a final form.

Design element special considerations:

Chunkier forms with less fine detail work better for concrete blends. Busts, sleeping, and sitting poses often work best for human and animal models.

Models with T pose, fine details, or thin elements are better suited to a resin casting.

Please check out many of the existing STL and OBJ files other artists make available, for free and for purchase. Alternatively, you may submit photo's and we will use AI generation to create a lifelike base model.

We can add a base of your choosing to your model and make slight adjustments to the posture, if needed.

Adding loved ones details or text:

You may add embossed or engraved text directly into the base or model. When choosing this option, large, bold lettering for minimal wording works best.

Alternatively, you may choose an engraved metal plaque through our third party supplier. This works best for fancier fonts and longer phrases.

Placement location considerations:

Generally, all of the concrete blends are suitable for indoor and outdoor use in most areas. Areas prone to salt or extreme temperatures are not recommended.

Eco-concrete contains a high limestone concentration, it requires extended carbonation to set, it is best to shield it from running water and underwater locations to prevent erosion during this time.

Traditional and roman concrete blends are suitable for underwater use, in freshwater locations where they are unlikely to freeze and thaw repeatedly.

Even UV resistant epoxy resins will yellow and cloud with exposure to UV rays. Therefore, resin is not recommended for use in direct sunlight. It is underwater safe and made from low VOC California compliant resin.

One additional consideration when including cremains:

The percentage of cremains that can be added to a mixture varies by material, this can limit the minimum size of a memorial.

Concrete blends vary from 5% - 25%, while resin can accomodate up to 50%.

Please let us know if you need assistance choosing a material and size to accomodate your cremains.
